Techbase Solutions Inc. is a software studio in Wildey, St. Michael. We build and run software for clients around the Caribbean: government departments, UN agencies, regional bodies and private firms.

The team is small and senior, and we lean hard on AI tooling in delivery. Everything on this page was built by the same people, start to finish, and most of it is still looked after by us today.

How we deliver in weeks

Start with the service owner

The first conversations are with the people who run the service day to day. We would rather learn the problem from them than from a requirements document.

Prototype early

A clickable prototype on real content, usually inside the first week, so decisions get made against something concrete.

Build for production

AI tooling speeds up the build; tests, CI and render checks keep it honest. Documentation gets written while we work, not after.

Hand over properly

Runbooks, admin access and training, so the service belongs to your team when we leave.

Standards, security and handover

how we meet the bar in the terms of reference

Production-ready, agreed in writing

Before building we agree what production-ready means for the engagement, then hold every deploy to it. In practice that looks like the 147-test suite on the Harrigan platform, the 125 tests behind Invoute, CI on every push, and desktop and mobile render checks before release.

Security by default

Multi-tenant data sits behind row-level security. Content security policies, rate limiting and signed URLs are standard practice here, and before the Harrigan launch we attacked our own build in review passes and fixed what we found. We expect our work to face penetration testing and build for it.

Handover without debt

Each repository keeps its own runbooks, decision records and a status index a new team can pick up. UNICEF takes full ownership of its course at handover. Even this portfolio is generated from a versioned fact sheet.

The team

small, senior, multidisciplinary

One senior team covers product, design, engineering and delivery, with AI tooling doing a lot of the heavy lifting. That mix is how the work above went from brief to production in weeks rather than months.

Every project here was delivered by this team, which is also our answer to the question of prior delivery together. For a GovTech Barbados engagement we would size the team to the brief and name the people in the delivery plan, with the principal engineer leading the work throughout.
